Registered Nurse – Enliven Disability

Enliven Disability Service is seeking Registered Nurses to work across our residential and community disability support services

Enliven Disability support disabled people with complex clinical needs. Working within the Registered Nurse scope of practice, you will engage in direct assessment and clinical care of the people we support.  You will be responsible for guiding the care given by support staff, directing and delegating nursing tasks as appropriate.

Your role will include:

  • Directing the clinical support of people with high and complex physical disabilities.
  • Provide direction and delegation of care delivered by Support staff.
  • Maintain the well-being of the people we support through effective nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation.
  • Prioritise care across facilities and escalate care when required.

What you will bring –

As a Registered Nurse (Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand), you’ll bring clinical nursing knowledge and an understanding of the Enabling Good Lives principles.

You’ll bring:

  • Critical thinking and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
  • Ability to communicate with a wide variety of people.
  • Skill in managing small teams to achieve common goals.
