Cook – Enliven Disability Services

Enliven Disability Services work alongside young people under 65 living with a disability. We aim to empower and support our clients to live an extraordinary life as valued members of the community. You will be part of a team working to make a difference in your local community.

Enliven Disability Services is seeking an experienced cook to provide week day lunch and evening meal service to flatters at Rowan House. In this role you will be preparing and cooking a lunch and evening meal for 22 flatters.

  • 10.30am to 7pm Monday to Friday | 80 hours per fortnight. 

About the role:

  • You will prepare and cook lunch and evening meals for 22 Flatters with a variety of dietary needs,
  • You will support the management of the kitchen, ordering groceries and kitchen equipment.
  • You will ensure the menu, with support of dietitian and clinical support meets the dietary needs of the people of Enliven Disability.
  • Be responsive to the changing needs of clients.
  • Maintain a safe working environment.
  • Clean up after meal has been served.

You will need to:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals that are tasty and wholesome.
  • Be self motivated
  • Have attention to detail
  • Have Health and Safety awareness
  • Be at team player
  • Able to follow instructions and work unsupervised
  • Have food service experience
