Operations Manager – Enliven Older People Services

Enliven Intensive Home Support, a service of Presbyterian Support East Coast, provides support services for older people so they can live and enjoy life as a valued part of our community.

We currently have a full-time position available for an operations Manager. This is a leadership role ensuring all aspects the Enliven Intensive Home Support Service operate seamlessly and at the highest standards. 

The role encompasses office and support worker teams and is a pivotal role in ensuring our work culture of valuing and supporting people is of the highest priority. You will work in partnership with our Clinical manager building on the positive relationship between the clinical and operational arms of the service.

About the role:

You will lead a highly skilled and functioning community support worker team and have day to day oversite of knowledgeable office and administrative team with support from the office manager.

You will ensure all aspects of the operations team function in a positive, collaborative and solution focused way, working collaboratively with the clinical manager to ensure services meet the highest standards. .

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be a strong leader with the ability to clearly articulate the vision of Enliven intensive Services.
  • Be a people person with a high degree of emotional intelligence who will value and contribute positively to our work culture.
  • Knowledge of organisational effectiveness and operational management.
  • A well-developed understanding of IT systems and databases and an eye for detail.
  • A person with humility who sees the team as a valuable source of information and knowledge.
  • Experience of rostering and service delivery.
  • Can manage the competing demands of overseeing several contracts and workstreams.

You will need:

  • Experience as an Operations Manager or similar role.
  • Experience in leadership with a proven track record in delivering high quality services.
  • Understand HR processes leading and managing teams, including coaching and mentoring staff.
  • Good understanding of business administration
  • Full clean drivers licence.
