Support Workers - Enliven Disability Services

Enliven Disability Services, a provision of Presbyterian Support East Coast, is looking for enthusiastic Support Workers to join their team.

Enliven Disability Services provide both residential and community support for people under 65 living with disability. We currently have part-time vacancies available (up to 0.9 fte).

We believe the people we support should live extraordinary lives. We are committed to providing services that foster individual choice and encourage independence, community engagement, responsibility and self-determination. As a Support Worker you will be assisting our clients in their everyday life activities.

Knowledge of the healthcare sector and standards is desirable but not essential as full training will be given a comprehensive induction and orientation programme. You will also be partnered with a qualified staff member to develop the required skills to become confident in your role.

Successful applicants must be reliable, readily contactable and be flexible to work across the three shifts including weekends and public holidays.

With a supportive work environment and an extensive range of training programmes there are further opportunities to gain NZQA qualifications in the healthcare sector.

 

Applicants should have a New Zealand residency or valid New Zealand work visa and ideally a full driver’s licence.
