Stuart Signal, PSEC Board Chair

Stuart Signal, a Chartered Accountant in public practice, takes over from Maitland Manning, QSM, JP, as Chair of the PSEC Board.
Stuart settled in Hawkes Bay in 1982 following time spent working in England. He became a partner of Dent Robertson & Partners which, through successive mergers and name changes, operates today as Baker Tilly Staples Rodway. He is a principal of the firm’s specialist audit team, one of the largest in Hawke’s Bay.
He is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors and through his client relationships has wide experience in corporate and charity governance.
Stuart was co-opted to the PSEC Board in 2013.
Alison Prins, PSEC Board Deputy Chair
Alison Prins is the Graeme Dingle Foundation’s General Manager – Hawke’s Bay.
Until September 2020 Alison was the Group Welfare Manager for Hawke’s Bay Civil Defence Emergency Management leading the regional welfare response to COVID-19, Esk Floods, and the Havelock North gastroenteritis outbreak.
She was Chair of Hawke’s Bay Plunket Board before becoming a Board member of the national board of the Royal New Zealand Plunket Trust for the last 6 years.
Alison lives in rural Hawke’s Bay where she runs a farming and grape-growing business with her husband. They have three children.
She was elected to the PSEC Board in 2016.
