Presbyterian Support East Coast’s returns policy is based on the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act and Fair Trading Act

Consumer Guarantees Act 1993

The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for goods sold by Presbyterian Support East Coast. In the event that goods sold are deficient or are faulty, the retailer has the obligation to repair, replace or refund.

Fair Trading Act 1986

The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect the customer from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing; where the product was made; where the product is from; the meeting of New Zealand safety standards; availability of products in store and the sales techniques used. The Commerce Commission enforces the Fair Trading Act 1986.

Returning a Product 

For a product to be returned under our policy, that product must be in the original resalable condition unless faulty or otherwise defective.  Restrictions and exceptions resulting from New Zealand Copyright laws and health and safety issues mean a refund or exchange may only be available if the product is defective.  Eg. Jewellery (earrings)

If a product is deemed unsatisfactory, we can offer to exchange it for another one (ie: a different colour or size) or another product for the same value.

How to return a Product

If you wish to return a product please follow the instructions provided with your item, or contact us at or 877 8193 to arrange returning a product for an exchange or refund.  You will need to have your proof of purchase.  You are responsible for any delivery charges incurred to return products.  Please note event tickets have different terms & conditions.  Please visit our ticketing T&Cs page for more information. 

Damaged Product 

If you suspect your product has been damaged during delivery please do not throw away the parcel or cover in which the product came as our courier partner will need to inspect it. Please contact us on or 877 8193 and we will organise the return of the product for inspection and will endeavour to send you a replacement as soon as possible.
