Thank you supporters for Sparkly success!

Sparkle 2016 and Enliven Services thank supporters for Sparkly success!

On Monday night Presbyterian Support East Coast (PSEC) held their thank you Sparkle Sponsor event to all the supporters of Sparkle 2016 .   Held at the Enliven Centre on Pakowhai Road, the venue was the perfect setting for thanking everyone that contributed to making Sparkle 2016 such a successful event.  The Enliven Centre was the recipient of the funds raised at Sparkle 16, and it was the very first fundraising event for PSEC’s Enliven service.

Sparkle 2016 took place on 21 May at Church Road Winery and was attended by 250 guests, who very generously raised $38,749 for PSEC’s Enliven Centre.  This was due to the incredible range of sponsorship, and auction prizes donations from our supporters that were auctioned off during the evening – from sailing experiences, holiday packages, artwork and jewellery.

“Sparkle 2016 was a wonderful success,” says Shirley Collins, PSEC’s Fundraising, Communication and Marketing Manager. “Thank you so much to everyone who has supported Sparkle 2016, the night raised much needed money for such a worthy cause.  We couldn’t have done it without our local and national supporters generosity, and our huge team of volunteers on the night who made it all happen!’  Check out the Sparkle video here.

The Sparkle event is all about innovation, surprise and raising our own bar every year. We are deep in planning for Sparkle 2017, and will be announcing details very soon. We are also excited as next year’s event will be in aid of PSEC’s Family Works services.  Family Works aims to address and reduce instances of child abuse, neglect and family violence in our local community.  Family Works provides social work, counselling, social work services in schools, and parenting and children’s programmes for families”
