Iona College book drive makes a difference

Iona College is making a difference in the community, “Page by page’.

As part of the Year 12 Social Studies programme, student Ava Woodbury Rinkle and her two friends, Katya Drinnan and Sasha Currie, organised a book drive. The student initiative aimed to collect books for young students in Hawke’s Bay schools.

On Friday 2nd of December, the Iona College students, together with Family Works’ Leeanne Isaacson, presented books to June Crawford, Assistant Principal Mayfair Primary School, and Greg Riceman, Principal of Raureka Primary School. Well done to the Iona College students for their contribution to our local community.
