Iona College students have once again shown their community spirit, raising $700 to support the Enliven Disability Rowan Apartments through the BrickFEST campaign.
This year the students raised funds through a chapel offering and delicious cake sale. Funds raised will go towards the development of Rowan Apartments, four purpose-built homes designed to support younger adults with complex physical disabilities to live more independently.
Last year, Andrew Wordsworth (Service Manager Enliven Disability) inspired the Iona College girls with a talk during their morning chapel service. Andrew shared the journey that brought him to join Enliven Disability and highlighted the impactful work that Enliven does in serving others. Andrew encouraged students to make a difference by giving back and supporting individual disabled people on their life journey.
