International Volunteers Day 2025

On 4 December, a day before International Volunteer Day, we celebrated PSEC volunteers with ‘a cuppa thanks’ and an appreciation high tea at Mission Estate. Click here to watch short video.

Thanks to Enliven Disability volunteers for your presence, companionship, dignity, joy and connection. We see how well you support people to participate, to express themselves and to live in ways that reflect their true selves and aspirations.

Thanks to our retail volunteers, you are amazing. You gifted 9,000 hours of your time last year to serve in PSEC Charity Shops! You generate many benefits for our community. You are ambassadors, you connect with people in the community, you share stories, you create warm and safe spaces. You are also saving the environment and bringing in funds to support PSEC services, Enliven and Family Works.

Thank you volunteers for your mahi. You live out our mission of leading social change with courage, care, and aroha every day. The impact you have is profound and you are deeply appreciated by us.

Every small act of service and moment of connection can shape a person’s life in meaningful ways that not everyone will see, but that matters deeply.

If you’d like to volunteer with us, on email volunteer@psec.org.nz or Click here to find out more.
