Quizzers helping to build a better life for everyone
On 17 October 2024, Enliven Disability held the successful Big Brick Quiz at the Napier War Memorial Centre. It was a night packed with fun and laughter, raising around $25 000 to help build the new Rowan Apartments—accessible homes for younger people living with complex physical disabilities.
A massive congratulations to HB Technologies’, The Wally’s, the ‘peace of mind IT company’ who claimed the ‘great smelling’ native wood trophy and all the glory! The competition was fierce, with Mogul finishing right behind them after bringing their ‘smarter thinking online’ to the quiz.
Te Radar kept the energy high from start to finish, delivering plenty of laughs with baffler questions, bonus rounds, games, and even auctioning off “nothing”—yes, really! The audience was treated to guests’ renditions of The Phantom of the Opera and the Avatar movie soundtrack for bonus points which was a hilarious twist.
The pop-a-balloon prizes were a hit again this year and sold out before the quiz even started! The raffles, silent auctions, and live auctions were buzzing, with great prizes up for grabs. Thanks to all the businesses who supported the event—we couldn’t have done it without you!
