On 20 November 2025, PSEC hosted The Big Community Quiz fundraising event at East Pier Hotel, Napier for Enliven! It was a great success!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for an unforgettable night of fun and fundraising to raise money to support locals through Enliven services.
Congratulations to the PSEC Corporate Services quizzers ‘The Killer Whales’ who took over the title from HB Technologies and brought the trophy back to PSEC head offices for the first time in history!
Competition was fierce at the top with only a four-point lead, ‘The Dark Destroyers’ finishing in a close second place. Quizmaster Riggsy (Brent Riggs from Believe It Or Not Quiz Nights) said on the night that there were no take-home prizes for the losing teams but that everyone had already won with a fantastic night out.
Thank you Riggsy for keeping us moving and entertained, standing for national anthems, rolling coins for a bottle of rum, locking in heads or tails, wondering about an unexpected movie reference, thinking BIG with eight interesting quiz rounds, and giving generously through games, raffles, and auctions.
The pop-a-balloon game is always a sell-out. This year was no different! Thanks to everyone who popped a balloon to support your community.
