Family Works Hawke’s Bay is running three amazing, free parenting and whānau support programmes in Term 2, 2026:
- Whakamanawa Mātua – A positive parenting for ages 3–11 years old.
- Tamariki Taonga – A Safety programme for children for children aged 3 to 11 years old.
- Poipoi Mokopuna – Supporting parents/caregivers of tamariki experiencing trauma and attachment-related issues (5 May to 9 June)
- Hotaka Whakamoe Patu – Non-violence programme (February – December with intakes throughout the year).
- Hotaka Haumaru– Safety programme (Friday mornings)
The non-violence and safety programmes are rolling programmes with no set dates, people can join the non-violence and safety programmes at the point of referral.
