Presbyterian Support East Coast (PSEC) is looking for and Office Manager to provide effective administrative support to the Family Works Hawke's Bay Service Manager and team that strengthens and grow service capability.

Family Works Hawke’s Bay provides services for tamariki and whānau who are facing challenges such as parenting and family violence. Our team provides confidential advice and support including social work interventions, counselling and education programmes. We work collaboratively with local community groups and services.

Your role will include:

  • Coordinating administration and communication to the Administration Centre and at each site.
  • Maintaining Paua database and reporting
  • Coaching administration staff
  • Maintaining a warm and welcoming approach in the office for tamariki, whanau and staff.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • A service-orientated approach
  • Advanced knowledge of the full range of Microsoft Office Software packages
  • Well-developed communication skills
  • To be able to work effectively and efficiently within a team environment
  • A team player who supports all staff
  • Understand Maori protocols and practices
  • Have experience coaching staff and developing systems
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines.
  • Experience managing teams and offices
  • Ideally hold a Business qualification
