Rowan Apartments standing tall

We’re excited to share an update on Rowan Apartments, the accessible housing we are building for younger adults living with complex physical disabilities.

Every Give a Brick campaign donation is making a lasting difference! The  structure of the Rowan Apartments is already standing tall with the roof securely in place. The site is buzzing with trades and construction teams working together to bring this vision to life. It’s truly inspiring to see the progress unfold.

The sky can be seen through the roof trusses. There is construction equipment in the foreground. Outside view of a building in progress. Scaffolding surrounds the building and the roof is on. With each construction step, we know we’re getting closer to creating vibrant homes to meet flatters’ needs. Rowan Apartments will offer a place to live and also a sense of belonging, greater independence, and an opportunity to fully participate in community. We are humbled by the supporters who have shown they really care about this cause. We are grateful for each supporter who is a key part of making this impactful build possible.

We’ve come so far since the groundbreaking but the journey to bring Rowan Apartments to life is ongoing. We must still raise more funds to complete the building at the highest standards, and then fit it out with everything that makes a house a home. To have a look at the supporter names growing on the digital brick wall, or donate to put your own name on a brick, visit www.giveabrick.org.nz
