Will you be an “angel” this Christmas?

Presbyterian Support East Coast (PSEC) is embarking on a new and exciting marketing campaign called “Family Works Angel”, raising awareness and funds for its Family Works service.

They have teamed up with NZME and The Hits breakfast duo, Adam and Megan, to host a number of Christmas Hunts at local Hawke’s Bay parks between 16-19 December.

The excitement will kick off at Cornwall Park, Hastings on Monday 16th, then head over to Anderson Park in Napier on Tuesday 17th, Havelock North Domain on Wednesday 18th and finish off on the 19th of December at Flaxmere Park. Each Christmas Hunt begins at 3.45pm and will run for approximately 30 minutes.

Children are invited to come along with their parents and caregivers and have some fun with Adam and Megan and go on an adventure looking for treats!

As part of the Christmas Hunt, PSEC charity shops will have life-sized angel wings in the windows and at the park inviting children and their families to take their photos with the wings and “share if you care” on Facebook and Instagram using #FWangel.

“We want families to have a bit of fun this holiday season and enjoy the opportunity to create new memories.” PSEC Head of Marketing, Debbie Bakkerus, says.

“To become a Family Works Angel all you have to do is visit one of our PSEC Charity shops to take your photo and follow the Family Works Hawke’s Bay Facebook page for some great giveaways.

“You can take it a step further and for a gold coin donation leave a note of encouragement and hope on angel tags and hang them in the shop window for all to see.

“We want to build a community of families showing support for each other and to show that together we care for the wellbeing of our local children and families.”

You can find the Family Works angel windows at PSEC Charity shops at 47 Carlyle Street, Napier; corner of Gloucester and White streets, Taradale and 14 Joll Road, Havelock North.

“We can’t wait to see everyone’s images and help Family Works build stronger families in Hawke’s Bay,” Debbie says.
