You will be providing Clinical practice leadership to Social Workers working in family violence and intensive social work, strengthening critical and reflective practice and leading bi-cultural practice.

  • Role model and coach competent practice to social workers and programme facilitators. 
  • Lead, influence and support staff to exercise professional expertise, decision making and judgment. 
  • Ensure principles of partnership, participation and protection are inherent in all we do.
  • Understand and support trauma-based practice. 
  • Role model teamwork and co-operation with internal and external teams.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have leadership and team work skills 
  • Be culturally competent
  • Understand trauma informed practice
  • Be able to coach professional bi-cultural practice
  • Be service orientated 
  • Hold a degree in Social work or Level 4 Diploma
  • Hold current Social Work registration
  • Have a clean drivers license
